Lake DuBay Lions Club Scholarships

The Lake DuBay Lions are happy to be able to support area youth in furthering their education. The guidelines for our scholarships as well as an application form and a map of our service area are noted below.

If you are attending Mosinee High School, it is preferred that you submit your scholarship information as part of their scholarship application program. You may use the attached application form, if desired.

Lake DuBay Lions Club Scholarship Guidelines
Amount of Each Scholarship: $750
Number of Scholarships to be awarded each year: up to Five

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must reside in the Lake DuBay Lions Club service area (outlined on map), or be a child or grandchild of a Lake DuBay Lion.
  • Applicant must have had a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4-point scale.
  • Applicant must be a student beginning his/her first year at a University or Technical College.
  • Scholarship may be used at any accredited University or Technical College.
  • Student must be a full-time student. (12 credit minimum)

Application Procedure:

Applicant must complete Lake DuBay Lions Club Scholarship application form and return no later than March 23.  Click here to download application form.

Copy of High School transcript must be included with scholarship application form. (Note: if applying through the Mosinee Scholarship Program, they will include the transcript.)

Selection Procedure:

The applications of all qualifying candidates will be reviewed by the Education Committee of the Lake DuBay Lions. The committee will select the recipients of the scholarships.

Scholarship Administration:

Scholarship monies will be awarded in the form of a check made out to the recipient and the post secondary school they will be attending.

Money may be used for tuition, room and board.

Unused Scholarship:

If the scholarship money will not be used by the chosen recipient, an alternate may receive the scholarship.
